First and foremost, I’m the biggest fan of Daylight Savings Time, but I am a fan of more sunshine when I get home from work. Losing that hour of sleep really throws me off for a few days, but if I have time to enjoy the sun and hoop outside a little bit before dinner, I’ll take it! And that is exactly what I did last night.
As soon as I got home last night, I threw on a pair of legging, a long sleeve t-shirt, and sneakers, and grabbed two hoops before I went out the door to the park. Due to all the melting snow, the park was marshy, but doable. I walked out to a sunny patch and started to practice.
It felt good. I got to practice moves I’ve been dying to work on, including lifting the hoop off my waist and over my head. Since I’m practicing it, the move is slowly coming together. I also worked on isolations and practicing hooping in my non-dominant current.
I think I’m going to like more sun to practice outside with as the days get longer come the spring equinox. Hooray for sunshine!
