Hoopiness From the Past Few Days

I know, I’m a few days behind on updates here, but I decided take a little time off  from the computer.  I get burned out, but now it’s time to get back in the swing of things and get you all caught up on the hoopiness from the past few days.

Thursday’s doubles class was fun!  Jenny showed up how to do the chase weave, which I didn’t get, but will get, and luckily I didn’t get overly frustrated, so that’s good.  On the other hand, I can do a one handed corkscrew!  It’s not pretty, but it works.

Now, on Saturday for hoop troupe practice, we finished learning our routine for Saturday’s (yikes!) performance.  It’s going to rock.  Oh, and Saturday was Jenny’s birthday.  The four of us in the troupe threw together a makeshift party for her, complete with presents, cupcakes, flowers, and balloons.  It felt good to express our appreciation to her in that way.

The weather is supposed to be better here the next few days, so I hope to get out and hoop after work.  It’s pouring buckets here right now and is quite miserable.  Here’s to sunshine!
