It’s Called Wiggling.

Wiggling.  That’s what my two-year-old niece Allie calls hooping.

Thanksgiving was fun.  I brought hoops over to my mother’s house so if I wanted to go outside and blow off some steam, I could, as well as give other people the opportunity to do so, too.  My sister, Allie’s mom, suggested I go outside and have our mom take Allie along with us.  So we did.

I had a beater hoop, shown above, that she could toss around, jump through, sit inside, etc.  She really wanted to do waist hooping, though.  Sorry, Allie, you won’t have the coordination until you’re about six.  In the meantime, hoopscotch and jump throughs it is!

So, it was fun to share hooping again on a nice Thanksgiving afternoon, especially with my favorite kiddo.
